GOLDEN LEAVES PROVIDES REASSURANCE TO FUNERAL PLAN CUSTOMERS OF COMPANIES THAT DID NOT BECOME FCA AUTHORISED
Golden Leaves, one of the oldest and most respected funeral planning organisations in the United Kingdom, has announced its commitment to offering support should companies choose not to seek authorisation under new FCA regulations or to companies that have withdrawn as they have been unable to meet the regulator’s requirements.
Barry Floyd, CEO of Golden Leaves stated,
Several such companies have now transferred their books of existing funeral plan business to Golden Leaves between 2022 and 2024. Please refer to the list of companies that have transferred their books of plan holders to Golden Leaves Limited:
Maplebrook Funeral Plans Limited Customers of Maplebrook were transferred by deed poll on 31/10. We will be writing to all customers before 30/11/2022 to advise them of the transfer terms and the way in which customers can cancel if they do not wish to transfer.
E C Alderwick and Sons Limited (Bristol Funeral Directors).
Geo. Hanson & Sons (Hucknall) Ltd Customers of Geo. Hanson were transferred by novation agreement on 27th January 2023. We will be writing to all customers by the 27/02 /2023 to advise them of the transfer terms and the way in which customers can cancel if they do not wish to transfer.
SJP Lichfield Limited (Jukes Funeral Services).
CPJ Field and Co Limited Customers of CPJ Field who purchased a plan through Matthews & Son Funeral Directors were transferred by deed poll on 08/08/2024.
Piper Funeral Service Limited Customers of Pipers were transferred by deed poll on 15/08/2024. We will be writing to all customers before 15/09/2024 to advise them of the transfer terms and the way in which customers can cancel if they do not wish to transfer.
